Steps to Design and Do Your Pollinator Project

Planning your project requires teamwork. As a team, download and complete this Project Planner to design a SMART project for your pollinator species - one that is Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely. If your team is tackling more than one issue, you'll need to coordinate on how the project will meet all of your needs. Once you have completed the Project Planner, submit it to Hero Headquarters using the form below.

Design

Well designed projects are SMART - Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely. Your design should help the issue you chose, the site, and the people who visit the site.

Do the Work!

When are you going to do your project? Do you need volunteers? How are you going to get everyone organized?

Communicate

Planning for communications includes how you will tell others what you are doing (including getting permission!) and how you will document your work.

Take Care

How are you going to make sure your project is taken care of after you are finished? What can you do to ensure your project helps for a long time?

Budget & Fundraise

How much do you think your project is going to cost? Where can you get the materials you need? How can you raise the funds you'll need?

Check for Success

How will you know if your project is helping wolf coexistence? What are some ways you could collect data from your project to measure your impact?

Submit your Project Planner

Your Project Planner will be reviewed by the Captain Planet Foundation. Strong SMART projects are eligible to receive up to $150 in support and your project can be recognized as an official Project Hero project!
