Interview an Expert

Plan and conduct an interview with someone who has personal or professional experience coexisting with wolves.

1. Research the person, perspective, or career. Ideas for people you could interview include an Indigenous knowledge keeper, biologist or ecologist, state or federal wildlife officer, rancher or hunter. You could also contact one of many organizations, agencies, and businesses with a focus on coexistence with wolves, found on the All About Wolves page.
2. Decide who would be interested in listening to this interview. Do you want to record the interview? 
3. Request and schedule an interview in person or virtually. 
4. Prepare interview questions. Set and practice interview protocols.  
5. Conduct the interview. 
6. Creative share the highlights of the interview, and any questions that were sparked. [laura -- choose a thinking strategy from here]
7. Send a thank you note to the person interviewed, sharing something you learned and something you are now wondering about.
