Eat Foods Grown Regeneratively
When you decide to eat more regeneratively-grown fruits and vegetables (which is easier and more effective if you have your own garden), you are eating food that takes less energy to produce than processed foods or conventional meat products. You are also voting with your food choices, and making it known that demand is higher for these types of local, organic, and/or unprocessed foods. If you want to choose foods that are soil-friendly, it will be necessary to balance your meat intake, but as you might remember, healthy grazing practices are one of the main methods of regenerative agriculture, so eating regeneratively-raised meat has its place! (If you do want to give up meat and animal products, go for it. There are many reasons to go vegetarian or vegan.) Make sure to include your friends and family in your regenerative food choices - making and eating food is so much better with others around to join in!
