Invasive Species Education
Invasive species are non-native to an area, and often introduced by human activity. These plants and animals are harmful to native species because they compete for limited resources in the ecosystem. There are laws to follow for boat owners and others who might come into contact with these invasive species. You can help too! Educating people about why these species are so harmful will help them understand why the rules are in place.
