Ready to help? It is time to do something with all you’ve learned about your pollinator. Your next challenge is to identify, design, and carry out a project that can help SOLVE<\/strong> the problem.<\/p>\n

  1. DEFINE the local problem you want to focus on<\/li>\n
  2. SURVEY places for a project and EXPLORE solution ideas<\/li>\n
  3. DESIGN a plan for a solution and gather materials<\/li>\n
  4. DO THE WORK to create your solution<\/li>\n
  5. TAKE CARE to observe how well it works<\/li>\n
  6. CHECK FOR SUCCESS and improve it as needed<\/li>\n
  7. TEACH others to inspire them to join you in helping other pollinators<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t

    In advance, decide if your class will all focus on one solution or if you will have multiple solutions.\u00a0 If you will focus on one, determine your instructional needs to facilitate the discussion and decision making.\u00a0 Consider persuasive essays, debate, socratic seminars, or another process for your class to choose a project.<\/p>\n

    Use this Project Hero Action Planner workbook<\/strong><\/a> to capture information about the project your students is designing. You will be asked to submit the planner at the end of the Solve section. This plan doubles as the grant proposal for your project to receive funding from Captain Planet Foundation.<\/p>\n
