Once you have chosen WHERE you can do a project, you&#8217;ll want to survey the site through the eyes of a pollinator.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What does the site have that the pollinator needs?<\/li>\n<li>What is missing?<\/li>\n<li>What is at the site that might be harmful to your pollinator?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are a few ideas of places to for a project &#8211; your school grounds, your family&#8217;s yard or porch, a nearby park or greenbelt, a storefront or office outdoor space, along a path or sidewalk, or near a creek or lake. Even if you are surrounded by buildings and concrete, you can still create a space for pollinators. The possibilities are endless! Just make sure you have permission to work in that space before you start your project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\t<h4>Pollinator Survey<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Visit the outdoor site where you are interested in creating your project. Survey the site through the eyes of the pollinator.\u00a0 What does the site have that the pollinator needs? What is missing? What is at the site that might be harmful to the pollinator? Think about how you could make this place more like its natural ecosystem.<\/p>\n\t<h4>Map<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>As you conduct your survey, draw a map of your site. Add labels and notes that describe what you find.
