As a team,\u00a0<strong>complete the Project Planner<\/strong> to design a <strong>SMARTER<\/strong> plan to restore the health of the soil at your site. Once you have completed the Project Planner, use the form below to submit it to Hero Headquarters.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" role=\"button\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIs your plan SMARTER?\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<h4><strong>Is your plan SMARTER?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n \t<li><strong>Specific:<\/strong> What will be most effective at solving the problem you defined? What, specifically, will make it most effective?<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Measurable:<\/strong> How can your plan be monitored and measured for success and impact?<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Agreeable:<\/strong> How does your plan address the needs and desires of the site owner and other stakeholders who care about the site? Do you have the owner&#8217;s permission?<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Realistic:<\/strong> Does it match the criteria, and is it realistic to complete within constraints like materials and budget?<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Timely:<\/strong>\u00a0Can the project be completed in the number of days or weeks available, and within the length of time available in a daily schedule?<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Ethical:<\/strong> How is it respectful of and beneficial to both the natural environment and the people who own and use the site?<\/li>\n \t<li><strong>Relevant:<\/strong> How can your plan be customized for the location, as well as the people and wildlife who use the site? Where can you get the materials you need? Do you need volunteers? What are some ways you could collect data from your project to measure your impact?<\/p>\n\t<h4>Submit your Project Planner<\/h4>\n<p>Your Project Planner will be reviewed by the Captain Planet Foundation. Strong SMARTER projects are eligible to receive up to $150 in support and your project can be recognized as an official Soil Health Hero project!<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"\/healthysoils\/solve\/submit-your-plan\/\" target=\"_self\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSubmit the Planner\n\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<h5>\t\n\teducator note<\/h5>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Design one or more site-based project proposals by using the Project Planner or another PBL (project-based learning) process appropriate for your students.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Conduct peer reviews of the proposals to give and receive feedback on designs based on the criteria of SMARTER projects. Peers can review the Project Planner.
