Creating Change

The United Nations has recognized food as a universal human right, since the Universal Declarations of Human Rights (UDHR) was adopted in 1948. Unfortunately, this does not mean that everyone has access to the nutrition they need. The Green Heart STEM Challenge is asking YOU to join the young changemakers around the globe working on EARTH problem-solving.
Are you ready?

Strategies for Change

This challenge is about developing a feasible solution to overcome the EARTH challenge you identified. But what does a feasible solution look like? There are four categories of solutions we typically talk about.

Innovation

Can we invent better tools, systems, or processes?

Science & Data

graph

Can we develop and communicate the science and data behind earth issues better and more quickly?

Public Policy

Can we encourage lawmakers to pass and enforce laws that support earth solutions?

Advocacy

Can we make more people aware of the issue we've identified, and encourage them to advocate for positive change?

Why Is EARTH So Important Anyway?
